The photo above shows the work area in my home office. Mouse over the items to view a popup giving more information about each item. Most of my work is done directly with clients. I also work in conjunction with several graphic design firms in the Columbus, Ohio area. In those cases, the design agency provides the graphics for the site and I create the code.

Personal

I am a mother of three wonderful daughters and was fortunate to be able to homeschool them for the past sixteen years. I currently attend Vineyard Church in Columbus.

I am a lifelong horse lover and have written a children's book that combines my love of horses and my Christian faith, Sonrise Stable. Last year I purchased my first mule, Sassy, who will find her way into future books.

Other interests include hiking, biking, photography, and playing acoustic guitar. In addition to horses, we have one dog and approximately ten cats. Our barn seems to be a magnet for stray felines!

Professional

I have a degree in Computer Science from Franklin University in Columbus, an excellent school! I worked for several years as a database programmer and taught in the Computer Science Department at Columbus State Community College.

I'm one of those rare people that has strong left-brained (logic) and right-brained (artistic) skills. Programming database applications didn't utilize my artistic side and felt a little stifling. Web design is the perfect combination for me. I get to use both my logical and artistic abilities.

I began shifting to web design in 2003 and really enjoy all aspects of the work.
